Obsessions

For the past few weeks you might think I have been a bit obsessed by what is happening in America. Perhaps in part it is because in my younger days I taught courses in American Government in a Canadian University. Anyway we subscribed to the Washington Post, watched CNN and stayed up for the debates.

My blip is the cover of the ebook I have just finished. What is happening over there now is very worrying and reading this book does nothing to lessen ones concern.
Blip is not the place to go into the detail of how they got to where they are. But it is certainly damaging our idea of the United States as the world’s leading democracy.
