One down, one to go!

One huge blanket finished and happily received.  Ian delivered it COVID safe style so I haven't had a chance to chat with my friend but she sent happy thank you pics.

I had to redo the last border row twice because I played yarn chicken and lost.  Thankfully, pulling it back and doing it half a hook size down was enough to eke the yarn out.  That saved me buying more and ruining my stash busting plan.

Now I have the second one to finish - am on the last border row of that one too.  Then I can post it off to its new home in Wales.  We were hoping for a catch up over  blanket and coffee but no chance at the moment. Now I just need to figure up the best way of parcelling up and posting the mahoosive thing!
