Mono Monday - Opening

This gateway is the opening to a local estate. A few months ago a transporter carrying an extra-wide load - a prefab house, I believe - couldn't fit through the gateposts, so the wrought-iron gate on the left and the sandstone gatepost were dismantled in order to widen the opening.

The gatepost was reinstated afterwards, but the gate, as you can see, is still lying where it was dumped. It would be nice to see it back in place!
