Where's Mary? We kept losing the path through this bit of woodland, but found it in time to get to the gap in the fence and onto a better track.

We met up, halfwayish, at Sence Valley Forest Park but we'd very soon had enough because it was mostly hard surfaces and pretty flat. It's probably much more picturesque in the spring, but we probably won't go again. 

We went down the road to try Kelham Bridge Nature Reserve, but the barrier was down and it didn't appear to be open, booh! So we called it a day and once home I got on with the painting.

Edit: I've been googling and it seems that Kelham Bridge nature reserve is open but the only parking is at the side of the road and very limited, but there were no signs about the reserve or the parking.
