A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away....

.... Mel bought me the poster on the right. It’s faded in the 14 years since it was bought for my 30th. A Drew Struzan / Charlie White III classic. Known as ‘Style D’, for the original Star Wars.

We really shouldn’t have put it up so close to a radiator...

Anyway, a couple came up in a movie poster auction in London. The first was ‘very good’ condition and juuuust went to high for us. The next, in ‘good’ condition we snaffled. To be honest it’s probably in better condition than the one from 14 years ago was when we first got it. Never folded, one tear, but sealed quite well, and given the torn circus poster look it kinda merges into the background.

Now, I wonder if anyone will buy the faded one off me....
