Anyone who hangs around a harbour knows that this smell means spring isn't far away. Boats don't get painted in the autumn or midwinter.

Forget the snowdrops & crocuses. Unreliable.

I also like the guy's hut. Lobster or crab creels on the roof. Saltire & Lion Rampant flying proudly.
