Last leaves

This is the last of our garden trees still in leaf. We were given it by my late uncle who was a landscape gardener and it came home with us as a sapling in the car. I believe it is a type of acer and the variety is Thea, the name of my eldest daughter. The leaves change colour from orange to red and hang on resolutely,in defiance of the strong wind we've had recently.
