Urban view

Today the sun came back but was a frosty start to the day. We walked through the Valais vineyards along the Bisse de Clavau ending at Sion - the capital of the Valais canton. Bisses are historic irrigation channels in this area. They are sort of open ditches, delivering priceless water from mountain streams to the vineyards. Many are still used today.
My blip is looking down from the vineyards to Sion and the Rhone. Extra shows the wider view along the Rhone valley with Sion castle on the right.
