The tollbooth

Here’s our 16th century tollbooth in the High Street, blipped on the after work walk.

Good news for us in East Lothian on the COVID front, Nicola Sturgeon has lowered our tier level from 3 to 2 from next Tuesday. Apparently, our infection rates are low enough for us to be allowed more freedoms, including, being able to eat in a restaurant till 8pm and have alcohol with our meals. That said, I hope it doesn’t go wrong and we end up going backwards in weeks to come.

I also feel sorry for the 11 local authorities is west of Scotland, who have been moved from tier 3 into tier 4, which is near lockdown.

I hope you are all well and staying safe.
