Midweek tipple

So we have dry days during the week and the question is what to drink.

From a long time ago, when I worked in hospitality, I used to drink tonic water with angostura bitters, and guests/customers had no idea that there wasn't a slug of gin in it.  So I stayed sober!

This year it has become my midweek tipple of choice.  Not sure that my Father would approve.  He would have liked a gin it it - and probably would have skipped the tonic.  Anyway, his face didn't change in the picture.
