Mark and the squishy birthday cake

Poor Mark is a locked down student in Notting Hill, so birthday parties are out of the question.

I cooked him a curry which he can reheat this evening and had another go at baking a Victoria sponge. 

I overfilled the cake with buttercream and jam but resisted the urge to clean it up as I figures Mark wouldn't mind. :-)
