Wormwood Hill...

We had a walk at Wandlebury Woods today... we went to have a look at the tumulus at Wormwood Hill a feature I didn't know about until looking at an old Ordnance Survey map the other day. The tumulus is huge almost as big as the smaller of the Bartlow Hills but being covered in trees it wasn't really a subject to photograph well.

The photo is of the path leading to the hill with the very last of the Autumn colours on the trees, the extra is a view of the same path looking down from the tumulus...
