Wet pink rose

Definitely not a dry day, but I managed to avoid the heaviest rain. I blipped this on my way back from having coffee with JM at Caffè Nero. We had a good blether, comparing notes as to how we were surviving lockdown. I'm pinning my hopes on things getting back to "normal" about a year from now which one of the developers of the first vaccine said was realistic. The year will be bearable because there will be an end to it. "Normal" is going to be different, but the things I want most are to stop social distancing and being free to meet up without restrictions. Maybe that's the same for everyone. At present the virus still impacts on nearly everything.
