Moulding

Having yesterday collected the remaining music and books that had been used by Octave (our small choir that no longer meets) we were back at the church to refile it all. Again, this brought back happy memories of our singing these pieces and the enjoyment we brought to those whom we entertained.
Most of this music was borrowed from the resources of the church choir, in the main from that before amalgamation of the different congregations, and much of which is stored separately due to our different repertoires.
The church choir library is housed upstairs in a small room off the gallery, and still has its original moulded cornice, dating from 1815. I thought you might like to see it.
