Mouth of the Dichty

A lovely bright day

After some wet but busy days it was nice to get out for a walk. I went from Victoria Road in Broughty to Monifieth, a nice distance of 3.3 miles. On the way, I passed the mouth of the Dichty, which is really a burn pretending to be a grown up river at the moment.

At home again I relaxed by watching the O2 tennis, a great event.

Although our area went into a higher tier level we are fortunate it hasn’t made any difference to us. I do feel sorry for the people whose livelihoods are being destroyed. There is much talk about what will happen at Christmas, so we will await with interest to see what Government decides.
