Did We Break The Rules?

Another wet miserable morning. Over an excellent breakfast, we were mulling over the latest lockdown rules.

Our Thanksgiving Holiday has been cancelled for the first time in 36 years. That is fine.

However Pat had ordered a special present for Pat 2 to celebrate a significant birthday. It has a spirit theme not to be confused with a spiritual theme.

The other theme of the special present is an Advent theme. The present has to be in Pat 2’s hands for the 1st December.

The rules are about too tighten even more, so we arranged to meet at the midway point between our place and Pat 2’s.

The exchange took place in a wind and rain swept car park. We spent less than 2 minutes there.

We travelled along the byways and came back by another byways route.

It was only on the way home that the weather improved where we passed through the designed village of Forteviot where the Blipfoto was taken through an open window.

The extra shows a memorial to a rather gruesome memorial to an event that took place just outside Dunning in 1657.

Back home to a late lunch of Pat’s Pizza, a bottle of Red and a rather fine home baked Chocolate Cake.
