Cat On A Hot Tin Roof

The idea was to take a last walk along the old Borders Railway from Eskbank as work is now in progress to reinstate the line.

Actually the workmen got there first and closed that whole section two days ago but, despite the river walk also being closed, we did manage to get between Eskbank and Dalkeith avoiding the road.

Returning along the road we spotted this delightful weather vane.
