Hack out to Emil to discover the managed forestry is in the process of being harvested. This is the second time this has happened in 2 years to a much loved and limited, therefore precious riding place. It’s a shocking transformation from a thriving eco system into what looks Armageddon . It will be replanted and I hope to see it grow again but it’s very unsettling to see such a butchered exposed landscape. I hope the wildlife can relocate and survive.
