Chilly!

I reckoned that this morning would be good for a bit of early photography.  I had no clue where I'd go but I was up at about 6:30 for a 7:30 sunrise.

My TPE (The Photographer's Ephmeris) app told me that the drive up to the house at the Astor estate would be in line with the sunrise, on a bearing of 122degrees.  So I waited in the 0.5degC chill for the sun to line up with the drive.

It didn't.  Perhaps the elevation of the ground at the house meant that the sun had moved a bit further around the horizon before cresting it, but the anticipated alignment stayed out of reach.  Oh well!  The drive, unlit by a sunrise is in the Extra.
