Unfurling

Two flowers of Oxalis versicolor beginning to open in the conserva-porch this morning.  A dull, damp day, this was as far as they got.   The red edges to the back of the petals make them especially pretty like this but they're only small, a little more than 1cm long.  When the flowers open fully the inside is pure white ..... watch this space!

A quiet day at home mostly.   Admin this morning and a bit more loft insulation before work this afternoon.  It's almost done apart from a fiddly bit around the loft hatch where I want to board a small area for storage.   My brother should be coming to take a look at that job in the morning.   Jamie and Tilda went out on the bikes again and managed over 11 miles.   Good for them!!
