Practical flowers

Looking at home for something with flowers that I hadn't blipped before, I thought of this bright pitcher that I use to hold kitchen utensils.  That shiny metal spoon at the front was my mother's and is at least 60 years old.  It's still one of my favorite things.

I started to watch the PNB Virtual Gala performance online this evening, which looked really promising, but realized I wasn't in the mood.  Fortunately it will be streaming for the next week or so, so I can watch it when it feels right, probably during the day.  It's nice to have that to look forward to.
