Fading rose

This is Ingrid Bergman, a rose that grows near to the house and fades away against the beech hedge. She is beautiful but has no scent which takes her off my favourite rose list.

We have had a quiet day, only going out for Jack to have a short walk. There is a good improvement in how he is walking and the pain is decreasing. The exercises he has been given seem to be working. Now we want to try and increase the distance he walks...but gently!
