A Thankful Squirrel

I was surprised that Betty stayed on the bucket when I opened the upstairs window. And I was doubly surprised when she recited the second half of the Lord's Prayer.

"11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen"

As she was approaching the bread bucket, I was winging peanuts out of the upstairs window. While Betty may be thankful, she was not very observant. I missed with 4 peanuts, before I bounced the 5th one right off her belly. She snarfed it up, while the blue jays got the other 4.

Is it just me, or is that a little squirrel smile?
