Great day at the preserve!

Saw some great stuff on my nature walk today… Including a baby alligator sitting atop a nest (See extras)! I know I just moved to Florida, but it sure doesn’t seem like November would be the time an alligator would hatch.  We noticed several other nests today so perhaps there are more baby alligators in the near future.

I had a very hard time selecting my blip for today but ultimately, I couldn’t resist the water droplet hanging off this guy’s beak. Some of the others are also in today’s extras. 

Still grateful to Pipersmom and char9 for my great new camera.
