Tractor and trees

Lovely walk to the Daniel Farm to do a recce of the Christmas trees. It was the first time I have started to feel Christmassy, with the donkeys in the field, people hugging hot takeaway drinks and the smell of burning wood from an outside fire pit. All they needed was some hot roasted chestnuts and mulled wine and it would have been perfect! My wage is in tomorrow so we shall head back soon before they all sell out! Chopwell Woods is closed this year due to Covid, so I'm guessing these trees will prove popular. People also seem to be decorating their homes much earlier this year, to bring some much needed cheer & sparkle?
