Salthouse Pond

M and I drove out to the marshes this morning and stopped at Salthouse village pond.   This beautiful female mallard swam into the sunlight and so I couldn't resist taking her photo.  I had to beat a hasty retreat though as a young swan decided that I was worth pecking and I had to dodge out the way a bit quick...clearly expecting some food!

There was a most attractive 'mackerel' sky this morning and the extra shows it reflected in the pond.
