Snap. Crackle. Pop.

I swear you could hear it growing! Honestly, really truly. Like the rhubarb sheds where you can hear the rhubarb being forced and growing too. (Incidentally, shall be at Wakefield Rhubarb Festival at the weekend.)

Had to drop Sophia today at her friend's house for a sleepover in a very rural village. Followed the track to the river and to one of the first suspension bridges ever made in the world, Horkstow Bridge. (Shall go back and blip the bridge tomorrow when we pick her up.) it was a glorious, if chill day and next to the bridge was a field of biomass fuel vegetation. It was so very quiet and we both looked at each other as the cracking and popping filled the air..

We walked down to the crop - there was not a breath of wind - but we were surrounded by the sounds of it growing from deep within.

Totally amazing.

In other news, had a great day working with our eldest son Alex. He's doing great and I'm really proud. Our other boys Marcus and Piers knuckled down and helped today too; cleaned the cars, washed up, swept up. Yep proud of my little brood.

And Mole? Well he just spent the day looking devilishly handsome lol.

Night all, pleasant dreams x
