Gold Leaf

I spent part of the morning in the garden cutting grass and collecting leaves with the lawnmower.

Alan Titchmarch suggested this on his Classic FM programme and it works well, very well, too well.

Travel 10 metres or so and the lawnmower basket is full. After some 40 or so trips of 10 metres and the garden recycling bins were full.

I have another 80 odd 10 metre trips to go before the task is finished.

Today’s Blipfoto is of one of our birch trees shining in the sun. A serendipity shot. Very much gold leaf.

After a very fine lunch accompanied with some rather red wine, I decided that the 80 trips could wait for another day or so.

The extra shows the 40 trips to date.

Strictly tonight. Dancing is not in my skill set, but it is a compelling show to watch.
