Apostles on the Great Ocean Road

The Twelve Apostles are what everyone thinks of when they think of the Great Ocean Road, and thus were an important stop on our trip. However what no one sees in the pictures are the ridiculous amounts of tourists on a tiny viewing platform, elbowing each other for a good shot. We got our picture as quickly as possible and then ran for a more secluded beach.

That night we stayed in a campsite metres from the beach with fellow fisherman and happy campers, luckily there were others as we had forgotten half our of 'essential camping list', like matches! Regardless, it was a beautiful starry night as there was no nearby light pollution. Unfortunately camping near the beach has its down sides, as we were eaten alive by mosquitoes!
