Autumn Crocus's

Colchicum autumnale, commonly known as autumn crocus, meadow saffron or naked lady, is a flower that resembles the true crocuses, but blooms in autumn.

I have quite a few of these in my garden, and I did not find them easy to photograph, I tried different angles, closeups, just the stamens and a few other ways, but nothing showed them as well as the overall patch.
It says that they bloom in Autumn, but our official Autumn does not start until March - well I suppose that is only 8 days away.
This probably co incides with the snowdrops that are showing in England at this time.
