Numbers

One would have thought that a man of numbers would have timed his blip-gaps (which are now very seldom!) so that entry 2000 occurs on a day when he can get a worthwhile picture. But, it's a normal (dull and damp) November working day in Scotland, and I returned from my trip to the garden with little more (see extra) than wet feet. 

But, then, in came Kermit, making a second attempt to get me to give him his lunch. When he hopped up to his food bowl - which is still on top of the aquarium - something in the garden was clearly troubling him. I could see nothing, but I'm only human, so how can I be expected to understand.
