Our resident grey nut gatherer has become more daring of late, inching ever closer to the closest-to-the-house bird feeder, much to the annoyance of littleM. To say He hates them with pure venom is something of an understatement.

There were no squirrels squiggling along the fence or across the garden whilst I was out doing garden chores and hanging the washing out, but that didn’t stop him going on sentry duty by the pond.
