A bag of Merry

“Cats can work out mathematically the exact place to sit that will cause the most inconvenience.” - Pat Brown

I went to the grocery shop early this morning to pick up a few things that I couldn't get at the small shops I went to last week. It was early enough to avoid the crowds and I actually stocked up on things available that we need for next week and beyond. One never knows when some of the store shelves are suddenly bare. So, I had many more bags than I expected after unloading everything. (We can't use our cloth bags in most stores because of the virus). I went to fold them up to put in our recycling and found one quite occupied.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and cool. I'm sad to say that the weather on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, looks rainy. That foils our plans to see Nora, Hunter and the rest of my side of the family outside.

Merry will be very happy knowing that the 6 year old identical twins on Trish's side of the family won't be able to spend the holiday with us. We will miss them, but they were a bit too active and vocal for Merry's taste.

All hands wary, but thrilled with President Elect Biden's Cabinet selections so far. America is re-entering the world once more.
