Phalaenopsis.

On the 16th I did a record shot of the buds on this Orchid.  Last night the first bud had started to "split" open, but only just.  By morning it was half open and by lunch time fully open.

So this is a recording blip as I have never before taken notice of how long an individual flower lasts.
