Sunset Thunderstorm

Thunderstorms started developing over the hinterland late yesterday. They fizzled out just after sunset and the severe weather predicted never occurred.

As a result, the sunset was quite spectacular! That’s two in a row.

Australia is currently at the start of a ‘la Niña’ weather pattern. ‘Warmer and wetter than usual’ is the prediction for the next six months. The farmers are happy as it signifies the end of a drought. The northern tropical areas are probably going to have more tropical storms and cyclones than usual. swings and roundabouts!
