Dalhousie Oceanography Institute

Yesterday I had a meeting in Halifax at Dalhousie University with a PhD student that I'm co-supervising with a Dalhousie prof. The meeting went very well and everyone seems to be on the same track and same page. Not always the case in academia...

As I was leaving the Biology building, to go take more pics in Point Pleasant Park, I noticed the many lines in the soon-to-be-open Dalhousie Oceanography Institute complex. The round building is from the original and, I think, houses all the fish tanks and storage facilities for sea creatures under study. The glass building is the new construction. The blue sky definitely helped with the contrast between the old and new!
