Not designed for manual work!

This week I helped Child No.2 (the Key Worker) repair their gravel driveway, which had started to sag from regular use and heavy rain.

Working at the appropriate social distance we were able to dig out the low area, sift and separate the gravel and mud mix; lay down some heavy duty fabric and rebuild the drive, with extra stone topping.

It was several hours of heavy work; but this compensated for the lack of any access to a gym!  However, even with heavy gloves on my hand did suffer, although they are definitely on the mend now.
