CannyScot's Day

A peek at the Dichty

A bright, sunny day

An early mid morning start to our walk for a change. We started at Sainsbury’s and went out on the Arbroath cycle path to Eithiebeaton, a cup of tea outside at McDonalds and then back to Sainsbury’s, a distance of 5.6 miles, our longest walk for a few weeks.

In the afternoon I did some writing and some thinking about Sunday’s sermon.

In the UK, we have all been given a bit of a headache trying to decide what we will do at Christmas. The Government have said they will ease restrictions but it seems crazy, at a time when infections are still high, to risk our health by mixing with other households, even though it would be nice. One gets the feeling that the Government have only done this because they feel many people would just break the rules.

There are no easy decisions during this pandemic but now it feels harder when it is left to us to make our own decisions.
