In Town Today

I drove down to the town this afternoon. The new signs are up, we now have a 20 mph speed limit. A good thing, I think, as our streets are narrow and people park wherever they find it convenient. Yellow lines? Yes, but when did we last see a traffic warden .... 

I was doing a little Christmas shopping, and that went quite well. Much less stressful than the usual battle through the city streets. 

Round the back of the High Street I spotted a figure who had clearly had enough of the hurly-burly. It was a nice day, but not really warm enough for sunbathing.
