St Lawrence

West Wycombe, catching the late afternoon sunshine.  It's on the highest point in the southern Chilterns and can be seen from miles around, including from West London.  The golden ball on top of the tower may have been inspired by the Dogana in Venice.  It is 8 feet in diameter, a wooden frame covered in gold leaf, and it has seating for 6 people inside it, although sadly the public are not allowed up there anymore.
