Maid of the Loch

This Clydebuilt paddle steamer sailed on Loch Lomond from 1954 to 1981 then lay rusting and vandalized until 1995 when the charity Loch Lomond Steamship Company was formed. In the 25 years since then great strides have been made to get her sailing on the loch again. This year an external steam boiler was purchased to start the engine and turn the paddles for the first time since 1981
