still a bit silly - he tried the oxygen, does not love it - girls and Steve brought some stuff in and too some more  out - he loves to talk but then falls dead asleep a long time.

(today's story - so after we married in 1984 he wanted me to meet one of his best buddies, "Foott"; we took off from Boise for Jackson, Wyoming where this kind of wild, kind of famous batchelor photographer lived, and along the way i realized we had driven miles without either of us saying a word, and surprise I was totally comfortable with the silence so i broke it and said something like - do you realize we are not talking at all and here we are newlyweds - is that weird - and he laughed.  two daydreamers in a tiny car going through the miles of empty landscape in southern Idaho happily like two monks in retreat.

and Jeff lived up to his reputation - a kind of famous wildlife photographer who shot for Survival Anglia filmmaking among other pursuits.  Here in extra he is getting up to get close to the Great Grey Owl he had been shooting, and suddenly the huge creature swept across the clearing, truthfully i felt its wind across my face.  pure magic!  Foott is very much in our lives to this day and I am and will be grateful for his friendship - )
