Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Blip

The Art of Sunrise

Through a sky as pink as a boiled lobster,
The sun crept slowly over the horizon,
Seemingly unsure if it was worth the effort.
Illuminating with the soft, golden dawn light,
Boats bobbing skittishly on breeze ruffled water.
The restless sea washing against the sandy shore
Before slipping back again with a gentle sigh.
The melancholic cries of seagulls filling the air.
