New bide-y in

Was in a continuation of the online conference all morning, except for a quick dash to the market to pick up my order and a few more items. Noticed the swans again - I'd tried to blip them yesterday but both engaged in bathing activities so energetic I couldn't get a decent shot. All calm today - I assume that this is the original male with the new burd who appeared on the water only a couple of days after his mate had died. The cygnets all seem to have left, possibly as a mark of disapproval.

This was close to where I blipped the WoL monster - but there's been no sign of it for almost a week. Perhaps it made off with the cygnets.
