Edinburgh Castle

Today was sunny, cold and still and the kind of day that deserved a good hill walk; lockdown can be tough. We met an orienteering pal and his daughter at Edinburgh Castle so he could bag the Turf zone there. We then went on a walk down the Royal Mile and then up Calton Hill, where the Castle and Princes Street looked wonderful. Luckily I found a wall on which to put the camera and took the blip. The International Space Station went overhead as we were there to add some interest. The extras are a couple having some wedding photos taken on the steps up from Johnston Terrace to the Esplanade and a view over Princes Street from the Castle.

Best on black.
