Cowslips in November!!!!

What is going on, lots of gorse out in flower, now today I saw cowslips?????

I also saw 5 flights of cranes flying South so they are doing the right thing for winter.  Also saw robins and lots of stonechats, plus a couple of hoverflies and a butterfly.

I had worked out the perfect walk for today, over territory I have not been allowed to go while in full lockdown.  I then had to make a rapid change, Where I wanted to go meant going through a corner of a wood.  The hunters were out so I did an about-turn and walked in the opposite direction!!!  Still over territory that I have not been for a while, but all on tarmac and I so prefer the farm roads.  Better to be safe rather than sorry though.

The chicken is doing well, third meal from it tonight in casserole form.
