Brown study

Worst time of year for vine blips! All the leaves have fallen off and they haven't been pruned yet, so they are just long straggly twigs. What a contrast to the last two days: wall to wall sunshine, no clouds, so even in late afternoon the light was too glarey for good photos. I did my best with what I had.

Back in time for the choir's AGM via Zoom Jitsi. We had to do it before the end of November to stay legal and qualify for grants. It went surprisingly well:  few technical problems, and with 18 in attendance and nine proxy votes we were well over quorum. Quickest ever too: everyone was instructed to read the financial and other reports in advance, and voting was done on the basis of raising your hand if you weren't in favour. Done and dusted in half an hour. Downside: no cakes, no wine, no chat. It's good to get it done though, and we still hope to see each other in 2021.

(Although to be honest as soon as there's no lockdown in either country we'll be hightailing it to Andalusia ...)
