Waiting for the ferry

There were over ten river ferries across the river from 1840s. Many were small passenger only steam boats. This is the Clyde place ferry quay on northbank. I used this when working for the summer in the travel department of the impressive SCWS building seen across the river. They used to send me across to the BEA office in Bothwell street to get air tickets for the 'bosses'. This ferry closed in 1967.
