Oreo Dunking

We'd heard of the quintessential brown and white American biscuits/cookies in the UK but Oreos weren't sold here until 2008. They were launched in the USA in 1912, an imitation of the Hydrox cookie. I've read that one theory how they got the name Oreo is because the Hydrox cookie had an oreodaphne (laurel) on it. The Americans like to dunk the cookies in milk.

Oreo the spaniel was enjoying dunking himself in the Stort Navigation this afternoon.
