Costa by the Kent

Into Chorley, this morning, for an eye-test at Vision Express, which is the annual metric for my ongoing descent through my middle-age. Still, I'm delighted to say that it's a slow decline and my close vision is barely any worse plus the optometrist stated that my distance vision is - and I'm quoting directly here - "banging".

Suitably cheered, I headed on up to the office, stopping off at Burton Services on the way to pick up coffees for myself and my colleague, Steve. Long-standing readers of this blog will know that I take a dim view of Christmas paraphernalia prior to December the first but the coffee within was excellent.
